KATHMANDU, Feb 22: Nepal recorded 476 new cases of COVID-19 along with 831 recoveries and three deaths from the deadly virus on Tuesday, according to the information released by the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP).
As many as 9,424 samples were tested for COVID-19 on the day. Of them, 299 PCR and 177 antigen tests turned out to be positive for the deadly virus.

There are currently 10,881 active cases of COVID-19 across the country. Among them, 10,367 are in self-isolation, 380 in institutional isolation, 115 in ICU’s and 19 on ventilators. Similarly, 107 are currently in quarantine facilities. So far, 11,928 people have died from the virus across the country.
Meanwhile, the Kathmandu Valley recorded 126 cases of COVID-19 on the same day. Of them, 101 cases were recorded in Kathmandu, 15 in Bhaktapur and 10 in Lalitpur districts.
