KATHMANDU, July 6: Nepal's COVID-19 death toll has reached 35, the Ministry of Health and Population confirmed on Monday.
At a regular media briefing, spokesperson for the ministry Jageshwar Gautam said that a 29-year-old man from Nishikhola Rural Municipality-3 in Baglung district died of the disease on Sunday.
With 323 new cases, Nepal's COVID-19 tally reaches 4085
Gautam shared that the man was an India-returnee. He underwent a medical test for tuberculosis in India and came back from India recently. He was staying at a quarantine facility in his hometown based in Dhorpatan Municipality. His throat swab came positive for COVID-19 recently, he said.
