KATHMANDU, June 30: Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) on Thursday increased by a whopping 74.93 points to close at 2,037.64 points.
The secondary market opened at 1,962.71 points and went into a rising graph throughout the trading time. With a notable rise in the index, the turnover amount also soared to Rs 2.45 billion on Thursday, compared to Rs 1.43 billion on the previous day.

All 13 trading groups gained in their average share prices, with nine of them adding a three-digit point to their indices. The sensitive index that measures the performance of blue chips companies also surged 12.63 points.
Shivam Cements had the largest transaction of its shares worth Rs 99.52 million. Nepal Finance Limited was the highest gainer while Global IME Bank Limited Debenture 2086/87 lost the maximum percent of its share price.
