Lingden, the only lawmaker from the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP), today inspected Provincial Hospital, Omsai Hospital and B&C Hospital in the district and urged the hospital management committees to manage effective treatment for the present critical time of the coronavirus pandemic.
On the occasion, leader Lingden interacted with doctors and management teams about the gonging health treatment systems in the district.
Superintendent at the COVID Special Hospital in Province 1, Dr Pitambar Thakur lamented that though the hospital was providing treatment to the coronavirus infected patients and other regular patients, they were still not getting allowances announced by the government.
Lawmaker Lingden also met with B & C hospital chair Durga Prasain and took stock of the ongoing treatment facilities in the hospital. Lingden complained that some patients died in the course of searching for hospital as most of the hospitals are reportedly refusing treatment to COVID-19 patients, citing lack of beds and appropriate resources, including human resources.
