Spokesperson of the Nepali Army Narayan Silwal said that the injured were rescued by a team of security personnel including the Nepali Army and taken to Doti Hospital by helicopter a little while ago.

They were rescued by a helicopter from Dhangadhi in Surkhet and Kailali. Along with the rescue, a team of Bhairavanath Gana has been deployed in the area with urgently needed food and tents, according to the army.


Last night at 2:12 PM, an earthquake of magnitude 6.6 took place in the Khaptad National Park area of ​​Doti. Six people were killed when a house collapsed in Purbichauki Rural Municipality-3 of Doti due to the earthquake. Eight houses collapsed and were completely damaged in that place.
