Price of gold hits three-month high

KATHMANDU, Nov 13: The price of gold has been steadily rising in the domestic market. On the first day of the week, the price increased by Rs 600 per tola.

KATHMANDU, Nov 13: The price of gold has been steadily rising in the domestic market. On the first day of the week, the price increased by Rs 600 per tola.


The trading price of Gold on Sunday reached Rs 97,300 rupees per tola, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association. The trading price of gold has risen again from Rs 97,000 per tola after almost a month.


Earlier, in the last week of July, gold price had reached Rs 97,800 per tola. Then it decreased.

In the last 26 days, gold price per tola has increased by Rs 3,900. On October 18, gold was Rs 93,400 per tola.


Last Friday, gold price increased by Rs 1400 per tola and it was traded at Rs 96,700 per tola.


Similarly, as the price of silver increased by Rs 5 today, it is being traded at Rs 1,300 per tola. On Friday, it increased by Rs 10 per tola and was sold at Rs 1,295 per tola.


The price of gold and silver is getting stronger in the international market. Gold, which was $1753.75 per ounce last Friday, is being traded at $1770.78 on Sunday. Silver is $21.71 per ounce today.
