KATHMANDU, May 5: Ranju Darshana, candidate of Bibeksheel Nepali Party, has got a waistcoat as the election symbol for the local-level elections slated for May 14.
According to Sunil Prasad Sharma, spokesperson of the Election Commission of Nepal, Darshana has got the waist-coat as the election symbol on Friday.
Darshana, 21, is contesting local-level elections for the post of mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) from Bebiksheel Nepali Party, as the youngest candidate.

She had registered her candidacy on Tuesday.
Similarly, Kishor Thapa of Sajha Party has got a camera as the election symbol.
Darshana and Thapa are contesting elections as independent candidates. Thapa is contesting the upcoming local-level polls for the post of KMC mayor. He had filed his candidacy for the mayoral post on Tuesday.
Sajha Party is a political party led by former Editor-in-chief of BBC Nepali Service Rabindra Mishra.
