Renu Dahal leading in Bharatpur vote count

CHITWAN, May 14: The mayoral candidate of the ruling five-party alliance Renu Dahal is leading the polls in Bharatpur Metropolitan City.

CHITWAN, May 14: The mayoral candidate of the ruling five-party alliance Renu Dahal is leading the polls in Bharatpur Metropolitan City. 


Of the total 350 votes counted so far, Dahal, who belongs to CPN (Maoist Center), has received 133 votes, followed by CPN-UML’s mayoral candidate Binod Subedi with 127 votes.

Similarly, independent candidate Jagannath Poudel has received 41 votes. Likewise, NC’s deputy mayoral candidate Chitranesh Adhikari has received 162 votes, while RPP candidate Himal Gurung has received 91 votes so far.
