KATHMANDU, Dec 7: Seven gang members involved in motorcycle theft have been arrested in Kathmandu. The Metropolitan Traffic Police publicized the culprits behind the motorcycle theft at a press conference held at its office at Ramshahpath on Tuesday.
Spokesperson for the Division, Superintendent of Police Sanjiv Sharma Das said that they were arrested from Babar Mahal in Kathmandu last night and handed over to the Metropolitan Police for further investigation. “We managed to arrest them from Babar Mahal in the evening. These seven people are one of the biggest motorcycle thieves gangs in Kathmandu,” Das said.

On the occasion, the department said that they handed over 184 stolen motorcycles last mid-July to their respective owners.
