A press release issued by Supreme Court Spokesperson Baburam Dahal states that a decision has been made to conduct regular hearings on the writ petitions related to habeas corpus and the COVID-19 pandemic and those urgent types of writs concerning life and public health as well as those related to fundamental rights of public importance.

The full court meeting decided to cut back on the service until February 1. It decided that arrangements would be made for conducting hearings and works in the case of high and district courts and the rest of the tribunals on the basis of an assessment of the local situation, level of risk and the number of infections.
