KATHMANDU, Dec 19: The Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) has asked people to stay away from the cold as the temperature is dropping across the country.
The MFD issued a three-day weather bulletin on Tuesday morning and asked to take necessary precautions to avoid cold.
Kathmandu Valley's temperature drops to 2.5 degrees Celsius
The MFD said there is a partial effect of western wind in the country and the weather is generally clear in the rest of the country with partial change in the eastern and central hilly areas of the country.
Similarly, the weather will be partly cloudy to generally clear in Koshi, Madhes, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces and the weather will remain generally clear in the rest of the region on Tuesday.
On Wednesday, it will be partly cloudy to generally clear across the country. The weather will be generally clear in the rest of the hilly areas of Koshi provinces on Thursday.
