KATHMANDU, Nov 23: Preparations have been made to divert the traffic in the capital city, if needed, in view of the demonstrations to be held in Balkhu and Tinkune.
SSP Rajendra Prasad Bhatta of the Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office said that they are preparing to divert the traffic according to the crowd seen in the demonstration areas.

He said, “We are trying our best to keep the traffic in the capital smooth. We have heard that people will gather for the demonstrations at seven or eight different places in the valley and take out processions. We will also divert vehicles on those routes.”
Today in Balkhu, medical professional Durga Prasai led a demonstration for the 'Saving the Nation, Nationality, Religion, Culture and Civilization Campaign”. Similarly, the youth wing of the CPN-UML has organized a demonstration at Tinkune in Kathmandu.
