Traffic police take action against 3,000+ riders in a single day for violating traffic rules in Valley

KATHMANDU, Sept 22: Traffic police have punished 3,070 motorists in a single day in the Kathmandu Valley. According to the Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office, they were punished at various places in the valley for violating traffic rules on Wednesday.

KATHMANDU, Sept 22: Traffic police have punished 3,070 motorists in a single day in the Kathmandu Valley. According to the Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office, they were punished at various places in the valley for violating traffic rules on Wednesday.

Among those punished are 130 people who were driving under the influence of alcohol, 93 people who did not follow lane discipline, 58 people who were driving at red light, 137 people who honked in prohibited areas and 50 people who did not keep the number plate properly. According to the office, 2, 602 people were also punished for violating various traffic rules.
