Traffic Police take action against 3,116 riders for breaking traffic rules in Valley on Monday

KATHMANDU, August 30: Traffic police took action against 3,116 motorists for violating traffic rules in the Kathmandu Valley on Monday.

KATHMANDU, August 30: Traffic police took action against 3,116 motorists for violating traffic rules in the Kathmandu Valley on Monday.


According to the Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office, 176 of them were found drinking alcohol while driving while 117 were penalized for violating the lane rules.

Similarly, 230 broke the rules of traffic light signals, 312 blew horns in restricted areas and 68 were using unclear number plates and or had modified their vehicles. Action was taken against the remaining 2,213 riders on other charges.
