GORKHA, July 3: Two people were killed when a house was buried by a landslide at Siranchowk Rural Municipality-7 of Gorkha district, Friday night.
The deceased were spouses and have been identified as Damodar Pandey, 86 and Nanda Kumari Pandey, 65, according to the Ward Chairperson Suraj Dhakal.

“The landslide that occurred almost 100 meter above their house killed them,” said chairperson Dhakal. “The dead bodies were recovered this morning from their beds in collaboration with the local people and police,” he added.
Only two elderly were living in the house.
