KATHMANDU, Oct 2: Beduram Bhusal, the general secretary of the Madhav Kumar Nepal-led CPN (Unified Socialist) has said that the CPN-UML is not a party but just ‘a small faction led by KP Sharma Oli’. Inaugurating his party’s district office in Bhaktapur, Bhusal said that Oli has tarnished the image of UML cadres without addressing their views.

Bhusal said that Oli has attacked the communist ideology by sticking his picture on water bottles and violated Marxism through his activities. Bhusal said that UML is just a group of Oli fans. Stating that the UML was formed with a great dedication in the past, he said that Oli’s leadership has drifted away from the communist line. He also said that Oli had attacked the people’s sovereignty by dissolving the House of Representatives (HoR) and accused him of not implementing his own ideologies into practice.
