Which services will be allowed in Kathmandu Valley from Tuesday?

KATHMANDU, June 20: The district administrations in the Kathmandu Valley have decided to extend the ongoing prohibitory orders in the Valley by a week.

KATHMANDU, June 20: The district administrations in the Kathmandu Valley have decided to extend the ongoing prohibitory orders in the Valley by a week. 


With this, the orders will remain in force until  June 28. 


The local administrations of the three districts in the Valley decided to allow following services and activities, easing the restriction orders to gradually normalize the daily life and business activities:

> Stores selling grocery, dairy, fruits and vegetables, meat, sports items, stationery items to remain open until 11 AM 


> Departmental stores, shopping malls, clothing stores, cosmetics and apparel stores, tailor shops to remain open between 11 AM and 4 PM on Monday, Wednesday and Friday 


> Jewellery shops, kitchen utensil stores, electronic stores, automobile showrooms and spare parts shops, mobile and computer shops to remain open between 11 AM and 4 PM on Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday 


> Hardware stores, electric stores, and construction material stores to remain open between 11 AM to 6 PM everyday 


> Online services, takeaway and home delivery services to be allowed until 7 PM everyday 


> Automobile workshops to remain operational until 7 PM  everyday
