8,520 new cases and 203 deaths in the past 24 hours
KATHMANDU, May 14: Nepal added 1,547 deaths to its COVID-19 death toll and 92,612 active cases to its COVID-19 case tally in just the last three weeks along with the recovery of 50,898 patients.
According to the latest data from the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), the COVID-19 death toll in Nepal was 3,122 and the number of active cases was 14,724 three weeks ago which have now risen to 4,669 and 107,366, respectively as of Friday afternoon.

Likewise, the health ministry recorded as many as 8,520 new cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours along with 203 deaths and 6,135 recoveries. The number of COVID-19 patients who recovered in the past 24 hours is the highest number of recovery to be recorded in the country in a single day so far.
As many as 20,984 PCR tests and 530 antigen tests were conducted on Friday.
Similarly, the number of districts with more than 500 active cases of COVID-19 was five and districts with more than 200 active cases were seven three weeks ago which has now reached 34 and 19, respectively.
There are currently 98,869 COVID-19 patients in home isolation, 8,467 in institutional isolation, 1,334 in ICUs and 371 on ventilators across the country.
