Bus collision leaves 60 injured

BHADRAPUR, Oct 12: As many as 60 passengers were injured in a vehicular collision on |Wednesday morning at Kanta area of Birtamod in Jhapa.

BHADRAPUR, Oct 12: As many as 60 passengers were injured in a vehicular collision on Wednesday morning at Kanta area of Birtamod in Jhapa.



The two buses with registration plate numbers, Na A Kha 1898 and Na A Kha 6561, coming from opposite directions collided head-on, according to the District Police Office (DPO), Jhapa. 



The cause of the accident is yet to be ascertained while the injured are receiving treatment at a local B & B Hospital. The police are collecting a comprehensive account of the state of the injured passengers. 



Meanwhile, a five – year – old boy was seriously injured when a bike rammed him at Dhunche in Rasuwa. Rubin Tamang was injured after getting hit by a motorbike (Ba 68 Pa 8473) heading toward Trishuli river from Dhunche, District Police Office, Rasuwa. 



The boy is currently being treated at Grande Hospital at Dhapasi of the capital city. The boy was rushed to the hospital on Manang Air helicopter. The bike rider, Ajay Thapa, is currently under police custody for necessary investigation. RSS
