Former royal couple Gyanendra and Komal Shah test positive for COVID-19

KATHMANDU, April 20: Former King Gyanendra Shah and former Queen Komal Shah have tested positive for COVID-19.

KATHMANDU, April 20: Former King Gyanendra Shah and former Queen Komal Shah have tested positive for COVID-19. 


The former royal couple returned from Haridwar, India, on Sunday after participating in the Kumbha Mela there.

The former royal couple had undergone PCR tests in New Delhi on Saturday. They had flown back to Kathmandu after they tested negative for COVID-19. 


However, the former royal couple tested positive for COVID-19 when their PCR tests were conducted again on Monday upon their arrival in Kathmandu.
