Kathmandu Valley recorded 3,607 new cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours
KATHMANDU, May 10: Nepal recorded as many as 9,271 new cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.
According to the latest data from the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), 17,623 PCR tests and 788 antigen tests were conducted in the past 24 hours. Of them, 9,271 tests turned out to be positive.

Likewise, the health ministry has recorded 139 deaths related to COVID-19 and recovery of 4,007 COVID-19 patients in the past 24 hours.
There are currently 93,141 active cases of COVID-19 across the country. Of them, 86,426 are in home isolations, 6,715 in institutional isolations, 910 in ICUs and 275 others on ventilators across the country as of Monday afternoon.
Likewise, the three districts in Kathmandu Valley have recorded as many as new cases of COVID-19 on Monday. As many as 2,775 new cases of COVID-19 were detected in Kathmandu, 327 in Bhaktapur and 505 in Lalitpur districts in the past 24 hours.
Nepal’s COVID-19 case tally stands at 403,794, deaths toll at 3,859 and recovery tally at 306,794 as of Monday.
