KATHMANDU, Sept 3: Nepal registered 200 new cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, along with 339 recoveries and two deaths from the coronavirus, according to the latest data released by the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP).
As many as 3,537 swab samples were tested for COVID-19 during the period. Of them, 92 PCR and 108 antigen tests turned out to be positive for the virus.

There are now 2,642 active cases of COVID-19 across the country. Of them, two patients are on ventilators. So far, 12,007 people have died of the viral disease nationwide.
Meanwhile, a total of 297,115 people got vaccinated in the past 24 hours. The recovery rate is recorded at 98.5 percent in the country, according to the MoHP report.
