Nepal’s COVID-19 death toll reaches 107

KATHMANDU, Aug 17: With three more COVID-19 related deaths in the last 24 hours, Nepal’s COVID-19 death toll reached 107 on Monday.

KATHMANDU, Aug 17: With three more COVID-19 related deaths in the last 24 hours, Nepal’s COVID-19 death toll reached 107 on Monday.


According to Dr Jageshwar Gautam, spokesperson for the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), an individual each from Rautahat, Morang and Kathmandu districts succumbed to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.

A 32 years old man from Rautahat, a 60 years old man from Morang and a 58 years old woman from Kathmandu died of COVID-19.


So far, 11 individuals in Province 1, 46 in Province 2, 19 in Bagmati Province, six in Gandaki Province, 13 in Province 5, four in Karnali Province and eight others in Sudurpaschim Province have died of COVID-19.
