KATHMANDU, June 24: The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) has confirmed 629 new cases of novel coronavirus on Wednesday.
With 519 males and 110 females testing positive for this viral infection in the last 24 hours, Nepal’s Covid-19 tally has jumped to 10,728.

A total of 6,828 PCR tests were conducted at 22 different labs across the country in the last 24 hours, according to the MoHP.
Speaking at a virtual media briefing, spokesperson for the ministry, Dr Jageshwor Gautam said that 114 more Covid-19 patients were discharged in the last 24 hours. Of them, 106 are males while eight others are females.
As of Wednesday, 2338 patients have returned home after recovery while 24 others have succumbed to this fatal disease.
