214 patients die of coronavirus, taking the death taly to 4,466
KATHMANDU, May 13: As many as 5,055 patients gained recovery from COVID-19 in the past 24 hours in Nepal, according to the health ministry. This has taken the total number of recoveries in the country to 321,518, which accounts for 74.6 percent of the total cases confirmed.

As many as 8,960 new cases were detected from across the country on Thursday. Those cases were detected through 20,245 tests (19,474 PCR and 771 antigen), the ministry said.
Meanwhile, Nepal reported another scary number of deaths in the past 24 hours. At least 214 coronavirus patients succumbed to the deadlier strain of the virus taking the country’s overall fatality tally to 4,466.
