KATHMANDU, March 25: Nepal recorded 18 new cases of COVID-19 along with 271 recoveries and zero deaths from the deadly virus on Friday, according to the information released by the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP).
As many as 4,342 swab samples were tested for COVID-19 on the day. Of them, 12 PCR and six antigen tests turned out to be positive for the deadly virus.

There are currently 1,983 active cases of COVID-19 across the country. Among them, 1,916 are in self-isolation, 44 in institutional isolation, 21 in ICU’s and two on ventilators. Similarly, 106 people are currently in quarantine facilities. So far, 11,951 people have died from the virus across the country.
Meanwhile, Kathmandu recorded four cases of COVID-19 on the same day.
