The Kathmandu Valley records 1,384 new cases
KATHMANDU, June 4: Nepal recorded 6,653 new cases of COVID-19 on Friday.
According to the latest data from the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), as many as 14,182 PCR tests and 6,631 antigen tests were conducted on Friday.

Likewise, the health ministry also recorded 101 deaths related to COVID-19 on Friday along with 8,663 recoveries. So far, 581,560 people have contracted COVID-19, 476,130 have recovered and 7,731 have died of the disease in Nepal.
There are currently 90,892 COVID-19 patients in home isolation, 6,807 in institutional isolation, 1,422 in ICUs and 404 on ventilators across the country.
Similarly, the Kathmandu Valley recorded 1,384 new cases on Friday. Of them, 897 were detected in Kathmandu, 188 in Bhaktapur and 299 in Lalitpur districts.
Meanwhile, 11 districts of Nepal recorded more than 100 new cases of COVID-19 on Friday.
